Standards Steering Committee

At its discretion and subject to approval of the C2CPII’s Board of Directors, the SSC maintains and further develops the standard’s requirements as it deems appropriate and necessary to preserve the integrity and viability of the standard and evolve the standard in accordance with C2CPII’s Mission and Strategic Plan.
The SSC is composed of technical and subject matter experts from a variety of stakeholder groups. These stakeholders may include qualified representatives of product manufacturers and suppliers; government or multilateral agencies; nonprofit, environmental or social compliance organizations; standards development bodies, academia and research institutions; service provider organizations, independent consultancies or other related entities. SSC members are appointed by the C2CPII Board of Directors.
Teamleader Certification, EPEA GmbH - Part of Drees & Sommer
As a scientific research and consultancy institute, EPEA - founded in 1987 by Prof. Michael Braungart - works with companies as well as stakeholders from industry, science and government to implement Cradle to Cradle® materials management throughout the supply chain. The scientific basis at the heart of the Cradle to Cradle design concept is chemistry, biology and environmental science, which are combined with product optimization and product development. Through this interdisciplinary approach, the institute goes beyond conventional boundaries to improve the whole system of materials use and reuse. The goals are innovation, quality and good design in order to optimize the quality and usefulness of materials, products and services through eco-effective design - and thereby, to have a positive impact.
For several years, Cedric Wintraecken has worked on multidisciplinary Cradle to Cradle projects as project manager, content developer, strategists and lecturer.
