Stakeholder Advisory Council
The Stakeholder Advisory Council is charged with advising the C2CPII Board of Directors, the Standards Steering Committee, and staff on market and implementation issues related to the Cradle to Cradle Certified Products Program and general C2CPII strategies for the growth and impact of Cradle to Cradle Certified across product sectors and regions. The Council is composed of a variety of stakeholder groups that are either frequent users of the Cradle to Cradle certification framework or familiar with the application of Cradle to Cradle principles. These stakeholder groups include industry leaders and representatives from government, public sector, academia, NGOs, and others such as end users, specifiers, investors, funders, or service providers with an interest in and relevancy to the Cradle to Cradle Certified Products Program. Stakeholder Advisory Council members are appointed by the C2CPII Board of Directors.
Chair of Policy Hub
Baptiste is currently chairing the Policy Hub, a joint initiative between multiple organization in the textile and apparel sector to work towards a common and progressive voice at political level. He is also chairing the technical secretariat of the Product Environmental Footprint project, an initiative by the European Commission and the industry to standardize measurement of the environmental performance of textiles and footwear.
Earlier Baptiste was leading the Sustainable Apparel Coalition’s efforts in Europe, particularly working on policy, consumer engagement & transparency as well as social convergence, always aiming at creating bridges between different positions to reinforce the industry unity.
Baptiste previously created and headed the sustainability department of Decathlon, a French sport producer and retailers. He had spent the first eight years of his career in Decathlon in Eastern Europe and South East Asia working in producing countries and supporting factories regarding social and labor performance.
