Garance Wilbert

Garance Wilbert is an intercultural professional for sustainable growth who has established networks, developed strategies and created technical tools for circular business models and sustainable innovation across different industry sectors. As Built Environment Manger for the EMEA region at the Cradle to Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute, Garance is responsible for outreach, education, policy development and adoption of Cradle to Cradle Certified with product manufacturers, architects, developers and the wider built environment stakeholder community.
Prior to joining the Institute, Garance led global initiatives at Steelcase, a leading company in office furniture production and workplace design, to incorporate sustainable design concepts into product development and translating new circular models into product innovation. She further served as expert for sustainable chemistry and design in strategic client engagements, industry advisory boards and conferences. Earlier Garance worked as consultant for sustainable service solutions at the consultancy thinkstep (now Sphera), where she was leading sustainability performance management projects for customers and managing association and European project engagements. She also gained experience in integrated sustainability reporting at BASF SE.
Garance holds a Master’s degree in Business Chemistry from the Technical University Kaiserslautern with a major in Sustainable Development and Entrepreneurship.
