The Certification Standards Board (CSB) is the decision-making body responsible for maintenance and revision of the Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Product Standard, and adjudicating appeals related to product certification, as necessary. The CSB is composed of industry leaders from Cradle to Cradle certification holder companies, Cradle to Cradle Certified assessors, and topical experts, and is chaired by the Institute's Vice President of Science and Certification. CSB members are appointed by the C2CPII Board of Directors.

Annette Hastrup heads the most experienced consultancy in Cradle to Cradle and circular economy in the Nordic Region - Vugge to Vugge ApS. Annette Hastrup is in daily contact with companies and authorities on Cradle to Cradle development that stretches far beyond the certification process, and her main activities are primarily to advise on and implement transformational Cradle to Cradle strategies in companies to create profitable, value driven and sustainable business models. Thus, since 2012 Vugge til Vugge has consecutively won the most important and relevant tenders in Danish public funding programs, supporting mainly SME’s in developing Cradle to Cradle inspired, circular business models.
In September 2014, Vugge til Vugge was the first company in the Nordic Region to become accredited as Cradle to Cradle CertifiedTM General Assessment Body. Since then Vugge til Vugge with Annette Hastrup as lead assessor has certified several products and product groups manufactured by Danish and Swedish companies.
Vugge til Vugge is co-author of two books: ”Cradle to Cradle® i det byggede miljø”, a guideline for the Danish built environment in implementing Cradle to Cradle principles in building projects (2013), and ”Building a Circular Future” conveying results of a development project focussing on the potential added revenue by designing for disassembly, use of material passport and implementing circular business models (2016).
Annette Hastrup has more than 20 years experience as Head of Environment in private and public sectors and has worked both on operational and strategic level being responsible for environmental technology and assurance, energy efficiency and carbon management, raw material optimization, health and safety, groundwater and contaminated sites.
Annette holds a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Aarhus, Denmark, complemented with management training and Cradle to Cradle training.
