Public Comment: Draft Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Product Standard Version 4.0
We welcome comments on the second draft standard during the public comment period from 20 July - 4 September 2020.
In response to numerous requests for additional time for commenting, the deadline has been extended to Friday, 4 September 2020 at 5pm PST.
Please review the draft standard document below (the document may also be downloaded). All comments on the standard must be submitted via the form provided.
Each comment must be submitted as a separate entry. To create an entry, click Add Another Comment. Click the Save my Progress and Resume Later to save your work and continue at a later date. Note that your responses will not be considered submitted until you click the Submit button.
Note: Two of the second draft standard reference documents are provided as Excel files, separately from the PDF in the commenting platform, for easier review. To view and download these documents, please click here for Required Percentages of Cycled and Renewable Content by Product and Material Type and here for the Circularity Data Report & Cycling Instructions.
Please make your comments clear and specific. As part of your comments, we encourage detailed recommendations for improvement. Positive feedback is also valuable for validating support for the direction of the new draft requirements when considering all stakeholder input.
All comments submitted via the form will be reviewed by the Institute at the close of the public comment period and considered by the Institute’s Certification Standards Board. Responses to comments will be published on the Institute website. Similar comments may be addressed with a single response.
During this review period, comments are requested on only the requirements that have changed since the first draft. Comments on requirements that have not changed substantively since the first draft will not be considered at this time. The sections listed in the drop-down menu in the commenting platform below are open for comment as part of this second review period.
Thank you to all who submitted comments during the first public comment period held in 2019. All comments have been considered by the C2CPII Certification Standards Board. Responses to comments submitted are available here.
If you have any questions about using this form or about the comment process, please email us (info [at] c2ccertified [dot] org).
