XCarb™ & EcoSheetPiles™ Plus
ArcelorMittal Belval & Differdange S.A

Description
Sections comprise hot-rolled I-shape beams and angle profiles made of structural steel grades. The I-shape beam sections consist of a lower and upper flange with a web in between. The angle profiles consist of either equal legs or unequal legs. Sections are available in different heights and thicknesses for an optimized application in structural applications. The beams and angle profiles are used for structural elements in buildings, stadiums, park houses and bridges. At the end of the rolling process, the beams can be quenched and self-tempered (QST-Technology) to obtain a fine grain steel with increased weldability and toughness properties.
Hot-rolled sheet piles are available in different forms (e.g. AZ-sections, U-sections, AS 500 sections). Sheet piles can be combined to steel walls systems with high stiffness and bending resistance.
Steel sheet piles are used worldwide for the construction of quays walls and breakwaters in harbours, locks, and for bank reinforcement on rivers and canals. Other applications are temporary cofferdams in land and in water, permanent bridge abutments, retaining walls for underpasses or underground car parks, impervious containment walls, etc.
