Stratobel and Stratophone
Renewal date 04 May 2020
Stratobel is the range of AGC laminated glass. Laminated glass consists of an assembly of two or more sheets of glass and one or more PVB (polyvinyl butyral) interlayers. If the glass is broken, most of the fragments remain stuck to the interlayer. Stratobel is designed to combine safety with other functions (thermal insulation, solar control, protection from UV radiation, acoustics, design) in a single glass product.
Stratophone is the range of AGC acoustic laminated glass. This range is designed for a high-level acoustic performance while providing mechanical performance equivalent to normal PVB in terms of safety. By including at least one acoustic PVB interlayer, Stratophone is designed to reduce noise, providing a quiet atmosphere day and night.
Stratobel and Stratophone (when manufactured with Cradle to Cradle Certified™ Silver or higher AGC/Interpane Glass). See Product Specification Sheet (available on the Product Registry listing at http://c2ccertified.org/products/registry) for all variations approved for use.
