Painted glass, acid-etched glass and lead-free mirrors
Lacobel and Matelac painted glass are both made of float glass, the difference being that Lacobel is painted on one side (glossy) while Matelac is painted on one side and acid-etched on the other (matt). AGC also offers a toughened version of its glossy and matt painted glass named Lacobel T and Matelac T.
Available in a variety of colours and special options, Matelux acid-etched glass is designed to balance privacy and letting in light.
Popular in certain markets for its neutral translucent appearance, Lacomat is a clear Planibel float glass which is painted on one side with a satin finish opalescent paint. Some characteristics of this product are neutral and light translucent appearance, high resistance to stains, especially fingertips and high level of light transmission (over 80%)
