Nancy Gillis Joins Institute Stakeholder Advisory Council

We are delighted to welcome Nancy Gillis to our Stakeholder Advisory Council. Nancy is CEO of the Global Electronics Council (GEC), a mission-driven non-profit that seeks to achieve a world of only sustainable technology, which manages EPEAT, the leading global ecolabel for technology products and services.

Before joining GEC, Nancy served as the Global Lead for Resilient and Responsible Supply Chains at Ernst & Young (EY). During the Obama Administration, she served as the Director of the Federal Supply Chain Office at the General Services Administration (GSA), the public procurement agency for the US government where she was responsible for the inclusion of sustainability criteria in approximately $45 Billion of procurements. Nancy received her graduate degree in Information Technology from Georgetown University.

The Stakeholder Advisory Council is charged with advising the C2CPII Board of Directors, the Standards Steering Committee, and staff on market and implementation issues related to the Cradle to Cradle Certified Products Program and general C2CPII strategies for the growth and impact of Cradle to Cradle Certified across product sectors and regions.

The Council is composed of a variety of stakeholder groups that are either frequent users of the Cradle to Cradle certification framework or familiar with the application of Cradle to Cradle principles, including industry leaders and representatives from government, public sector, academia, NGOs, and others such as end users, specifiers, investors, funders, or service providers with an interest in and relevancy to the Cradle to Cradle Certified Products Program. Stakeholder Advisory Council members are appointed by the C2CPII Board of Directors.
