Manufacturer Description

Architectural Glasses manufactured by Vitro Architectural Glass (formerly PPG Glass) are low-emissivity (low-e) glasses that are designed to make buildings more energy-efficient. Solarban® solar control low-e glasses are formulated to block solar heat in the summer. Sungate®, a passive low-e glass, is engineered to trap furnace and solar heat in the winter. Both glasses are designed to transmit high levels of daylight and reduce demand for temperature controls and lighting. Additionally, Solarban® or Sungate® may be united in insulating glass units with Starphire Ultra-Clear™,  performance-tinted glasses by Vitro Glass, generating many technical performance and aesthetic options for architects and building designers.

Architectural Glass (uncoated and coated). See Product Specification Sheet (available on the Product Registry listing at http://c2ccertified.org/products/registry) for all variations approved for use.
