Fusion 360™ is a cloud-based 3D CAD, CAM, and CAE platform for product development. It combines industrial and mechanical design, simulation, collaboration, and machining in a single package. The tools in Fusion 360 enable fast and easy exploration of design ideas with an integrated concept-to-production toolset.
Best Use of Aluminum
This prize celebrates the value of using aluminum in the product design cycle. Aluminum can be 100% recycled and used repeatedly, with no loss in quality. The process for extraction also requires fewer resources to recycle aluminum from aluminum over aluminum from ore. This prize awards the designer who seeks to optimize its use for the cirular economy.
