Winning products will excel in criteria outlined in the Cradle to Cradle CertifiedCM Products Program and align with Make It Right's mission "To build safe Cradle to Cradle inspired homes, buildings, and communities for people in need." This means a product that is be safe for human and environmental health and is designed for re-use, returning safely to soil or to industry forever after its use. No more "waste" for incinerators, oceans, or landfills. We're asking innovators to rethink common materials — such as PVC — and come up with revolutionary new products that can meet or beat conventional products on the basis of price, performance, availability and "eco-effectiveness".
